So cold!

Went out for a run this evening in a light snow flurry and 1.5'c temperatures. 3 miles (twice around the block) in 26 minutes

Swam a mile!

Swam my first mile in a good few years this afternoon! 80 x 20metre lengths (1,600 metres) at Bannatynes Gym in 48 minutes which bodes well for being able to finish the Great North Swim in September before nightfall ;-). About a third of it was front crawl... Need to try and increase that.

Bit of a swim...

Took my youngest daughter down to sub-aqua club this evening during the half term holidays and in amongst the playing we swam 22 x 25 metre lengths (550 metres) followed up by a Jacuzzi :-) Happy days!

Chilly!


Went out for a run late this afternoon. Around the wheelock rail trail, 2.5 miles in 17 minutes. Felt great!... time seems awfully quick?... not sure now whether I misread it!?!

Out for a stretch

Braved the 2.5'c this evening to get out for a quick stretch. Ran 1.5miles 'around the block' in 13 minutes.

Back from a cold

Had a bad cold last week so no trainng since then... Eased back in to it with 45mins weight training this evening.
